so much food. Had to take some home to enjoy the next day
Staff was wonderful. Food was plentiful and very good.
Many choices, plentiful servings & reasonable prices.
Many choices, plentiful servings & reasonable prices.
Waitress was good and remembered all of our orders. Very friendly
We are offered the cold buffet with our meals, and it has a nice variety, including small shrimp. The liver and onions is a very generous portion and has never disappointed, and the baked cod was also very good. The staff is always inviting and accommodating.
The restaurant is very accessible, no stairs. There are tables and booths. The day we were there a big noisy family party was seated in the small side room. It seems there is often a buffet lunch offered for 8.99. We ordered off the menu, our dinners included the soup and sale bar. No clear signage about what is salad bar and what is buffet, although we received a description from the waitress. We weren't sure if bread was included. We ordered eggplant parm and chicken parm. The waitress served it with parm cheese, no waiting for cheese! The marinara was good, and there was plenty of mozzarella, pasta had a good bite. I could not taste the eggplant, and the breading tasted burnt.Husband's chicken was strangely rubbery. He had filled up on the salad bar, which we both enjoyed, the stuffed grape leaves especially. He had the broccoli cheese soup, which he said was tasteless. If we go to Ghent or Chatham for something else, we will try again, but we wouldn't make a special trip!
Yummy food and fantastic service. I'm on a diabetic insulin dependent diet, so was immensely pleased with how they accommodated us!!
As usual, the food was very good, and the service was prompt and friendly. My husband says his liver and onions was the "best ever" and I chose the buffet. I really couldn't sample too much, as my 1/2 cup of soup and small salad from the salad bar didn't leave much room!
The staff was terrific as was the Italian Buffet. We will definitely be back'
It is a good family restaurant. The night we ate there, they had a buffet. it was good home cooking.
Great variety of choices from salads, sandwiches, full dinners and even a lunch buffet & dinner buffet. Very fair prices.
We went on 11/11/17 about 3pm. Our waitress was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent! I had Broccoli alfredo, and my daughter had the rib eye steak, everything was flavorful. We had cheesecake and it was made like it's supposed to be, it was perfect! We live the next state over, about 45 minutes away, but we plan to come back, for sure.
The staff is good with small and larger parties. The food has been really good.
Waiters and surrounding were great
Good food, prices and portions.
Good food, prices and portions.
Good food and friendly service
Waitstaff were friendly but not attentive. Had to look for them twice.
Food waa delicious!
Atmosphere, waitress, food was great. We were very pleased and will definitely go back.
lettuce in salad bar was wilted, Steak was good
Many choices at the buffet.
The waitress was quite helpful and you could tell she cared about the customers. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. The food we ordered was presented well and tasted delicious!
Great food. Great staff. Great value.
We are always pleased and satisfied with our meals. My husband especially likes the liver and onions, and I order a variety of entrees. The service is good, the portions plentiful, and the prices reasonable. We were disappointed when the special all-inclusive menu disappeared and hope that it will return when the weather changes, but that doesn't keep us from going back! It is a very comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, and you can always "come as your are!"
We hadn't been in a while but the food was just as good as we remembered it. It was prime rib nite and the meat was perfect, "melt in your mouth" good. The salad bar was well stocked with fresh, crisp greens, and add ons.
Casual, cordial and congenial atmosphere. Excellent value for delicious entrees, which included soup, salad bar, and dessert bar with very generous portions. We are never disappointed!
We prefer to order from the menu rather than have the full buffet. The menu has a wide selection with very reasonable prices. Most entree selections include soup and salad bar as well as dessert bar. You won't leave hungry!
We call this the meat buffet because the all you can eat roast beef and other dishes are good and plentiful. And a good deal even without the discount
A table at the other side of the room was talking very loud. Maybe they should of put us in the bar area instead.
The food is good, solid food. Nothing fancy. I like the menu choices and the service is pleasant. Sometimes in the morning they have the TV on which is annoying so I sit where I can't hear that stupid box.
nice staff, good food
This is a plentiful buffet as well as menu items and it is inexpensive. Good for larger groups as well.
Excellent food and service. I will certainly return.
Homemade taste. Excellent service. Will be back every time we're in the area. Stopped here on our way to Vermont. We will be stopping again on our way home.
Good food, great service
Love this restaurant. Awesome buffet.
Buffet offered a large variety of options but quality was not very good. Fried Scallops ordered off the menu were OK but sides were only fair.
We had gone here to try the lunch buffet. After seeing the items on the buffet which were not very appealing, we decided to order off the menu. We both ordered the fresh made burgers with fries. The waitress forgot my fries. Then when my friend asked for a refill on her drink, the waitress forgot to come back with the refill. The burgers were good and she did come back with a fresh basket of fries and eventually the drink after she was reminded.
Some of the items on the salad bar tasted as if they were fermenting Bread had to have first slice cut as it was so hard you could not eat it and it was very stale. Dessert bar all looked like it was dried out and old. Vegetables were luke warm.
Our waitress was very, very nice.
We especially enjoyed the prime rib dinner for $13.95, which included the soup & salad bar and dessert and ice cream bar! As usual, it was a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
I would like them to add strwberry or chocholate chips to theie Sunday bar toppings.
Good food for the price. I would go back.
Steak was not cooked as ordered; also extremely salty. Staff happily and immediately corrected their error.
I wanted crispy, crispy, crispy french fried, they did them at least 3 times, still not crispy and loaded with grease could not eat them. had chicken cordan blue it was not stuffed right, ham chips, little cheese and something else. very, very, very dissapointed. i was eating there wsually every month, but missed 3 months,WHAT HAPPENED TO DEGRADE TO THIS
food and service were excellent. Both of us opted for the buffet and ordered a sandwich to go
Pleasant, welcoming place.
Some of the stuff on the salad bar could have been a little fresher, specifically vegetables.
Good quality and value, plus friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
I think we would like to try breakfast or lunch at our next visit.
A little drive for us, but a very satisfying experience. They couldn't have been more pleasant or cooperative.
The iced tea was horrible tasting so I had to send it back. The greek chicken wrap was ok but very salty. They only serve potato chips with the wrap when I was hoping they would serve french fries. Service was rather slow and this was during the day on a thursday.
