This is a bar. The side that is the grill was closed. We went on a Saturday at 12:30pm. It was very dark & my had to ask for a flashlight to see the menu. She is in her 60's so a little harder for her to see. The staff were very nice & the sandwiches were great. I would go again for the food if I was up in that area again.
The food was very good but the atmosphere was dark and very bar like. They only had 4 tables and stools at the bar. We were the only ones eating everybody else was sitting at the bar drinking or playing pool.
We sat ourselves after a few minutes of entering the restaurant. We weren’t t acknowledged by any staff but 2 other customers sitting at a table told us to just seat ourselves. After about 7-8 minutes we were ask if we’d been helped yet, no we haven’t. Water poured, drinks ordered and delivered right away. Note that there were a few special events happening at the same time.
It was very nice as always.Really ejoy the Bolognese.
My husband had the veal chop which was on the specials listing. He really enjoyed it. I had the salmon which was delicious .
Staff was friendly and fast.Food was delicious.Clean, inviting environment.
Hamburgers were tasty and loved the fries!
Food was good, staff friendly, atmosphere, well no so much. But we were there in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, so we were the only ones in the place. The BBQ vinaigrette salad dressing, To. Die. For.
Our Server was amazing. Very efficient and kind. We had a great time and everyone loves the food.
Service was freat. No complaints
The food was good and the service was very friendly.
My friend and I arrived to try out the restaurant on a Sunday evening right around 7'ish. The place had very few customers present at the time. So we were seated in the bar area. We found they were in the process of shutting down the dining room for the night. The establishment has two distinct seating area's the dining room itself and then a rather large bar area with a few tables and low lighting. This probably helps cut down on the glare so the view is better, for the moderately sized TV's spread out across the walls. However, we simply had to move from the table that the waitress originally sat us at because it was too dark for us to make out our menu choices. What I also noticed is that there is still a lot of signage from the previous business. I can really only give a critique about the bar area. It is roomy, there are a couple of pool tables off to one side of the room. The sitting area's and bar stools are well past their prime but do serve their purpose. It's an old building and looks it. The real winner here is the food. Hearty portions that are reasonably priced. The food is good. My friend and I both purchased the Saparilla spare ribs. My friend, had to send his food back because it was not very warm and he ordered baked beans as a side dish but what was delivered looked like refried black beans. However, they made effort to get it right the second time and served him an excellent looking new meal and hot. They also served up a really good mac and cheese as a side dish. Would we go back, yes. Definitely, for the food.
