Of all the eateries that we have visited in Dedham and the surrounding towns, Salem Food has the absolute best Italian subs.
I did take out and it was well packaged and the food was good.
I assumed the Italian sub would have been toasted, but was not. I should have asked them to toast it. Salad with chicken was good, except I asked for dressing on the side and I didn't get any. I would try it again, and the prices for the catering menu looked very reasonable.
The steak and cheese was excellent as was the roasted veggie sandwich. My sons loved the buffalo wings and chicken fingers
Best Italian sub I have tasted since I was a Kid, which is a very long time.
I ordered a meatball sub and the lasagna. They were both very good. I loved the meatballs. We will definitely order from there again.
Have not had an Italian sub that good for 30 - 40 years

We ordered 2 sandwich platers and salad for a party at work. The sandwiches and salad were very fresh and reasonably priced! We will definitely order from Salem Food Market again!

food was excellent, server was fantastic. the wait time for a table was horrendous (ie: no one greeted us for a couple min while we stood by the sign to wait to be seated) so we grabbed seats at the bar & had a beverage while we waited.

While the food was good, I ordered an 8 oz filet rather than the 4 oz becasue I like a thicker cut. Rather than an 8 oz filet, we got 2 - 4 oz filets

The food was excellent, but they could have done a better job cleaning the crumbs off the seats and off the floor. The floor under my table and the table next to me was gritty.

The owner has added several hot and cold health fit items that are very tasty. So there is something for everyone at this lunch spot. There is also an excellent cappuccino machine there.
