Excellent food, wonderful service. Unfortunately another diner was very loudly using her cellphone, and kept the overall experience from being Excellent
Fantastic food, interesting menu, many delicious surprises and great service.
The experience my lady and I had at this reataurant was absolutely amazing. The chef came from the back and had brought several on the house samples for us to try. Besides that awesome aspect of it, our waitress was extremly professional and knowledgeable. As a result, my lady and I will be making it back to this place to enjoy their AMAZING cuisine.
Terrific quality but relatively small portions and extremely high prices.
Food was excellent, service was very good, wine list is way over priced for that type of place.
For a supposed high end restaurant the service was not good nor was the attitude. He should remember his mentor, La Francais, who when you entered the restaurant made you feel like you were in their home and could not have been more gracious.
Took 20 mins to get a cocktail one waiter and the service was slow to say the least too expensive for the service receive
One of our favorite restaurants--right in our neighborhood!
I go to Oceanique irregularly, but I always enjoy gracious treatment and imaginative menu.
The chef was very attentive to our table and came out at the end of our meal to make sure we had enjoyed everything.
Love the seafood. Out of this world, every single dish, including the free tastings. The service is also outstanding. Andrew, the wine director, always knows what to recommend in terms of chardonnays.
The food is incredible! The service and quality, along with the presentation make this a wonderful experience.
restaurant.com certificate was the only way I could justify the $$$$$ of this restaurant. Great food, just overpriced.
The food was amazing. Layers of flavors. The service was wonderful. Admittedly, it was a Monday night and slow. Only one other group was present when we arrived then it was just us. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves which was just fine on this occasion. Quite romantic actually. I hear it does get packed on weekends. The servers were very nice and attentive! Chef surprised us with a free dessert for my husband's birthday. He loved his birthday dinner. My husband had the lobster which was perfection. The ravioli appetizer was also delicious. Can't wait to go back.
I loved this restaurant, but I wouldn't go there anytime soon only because everything in the menu is extremely expansive! The cheapest bottle of wine is $45 and only 2 to choose. The rest of the wine list goes to the $100s and up to thousands! I used to work for over 7 years at the #1 French restaurant in the state of CT don't recall any bottle over $1,000My Bouillabaisse (seafood stew) was not well prepared, the sauce was tasty but the seafood in it was tasteless, as if they had boiled them in water then just put them in the sauce!Besides all the above, this place is great for a date! Service outstanding, ambiance outstanding!
The staff was very attentive, answered all of our questions and the food was excellent. Because it is a French Restaurant the portions are smaller but we left full with two appetizers and shared an entree.
For the prices, the portions were minuscule
Everything about this restaurant is extraordinary. The environment is comfortable. The staff is exemplary. The chef is creative, careful, accommodating and makes the most outstanding food.
Everything was great, we had this meal because the next few days my husband was going to eat hospital food. The experience was wonderful, service and food. I apologize cuz I made reservations for day after and wanted the day of and they took us in.
