The restaurant was clean with a nice variety on the menu. Prices were very reasonable and breakfast served all day. Everyone there was very pleasant. We will definitely eat there in the future.

The server was very pleasant. It has been years since we frequented that restaurant and decided to give it another try but neither of us enjoyed our breakfast.
Fresh, clean salad bar, homemade salads, mashed potatoes, lightly breaded, non greasy fish and chicken that didn’t taste like each other, excellent green beans

The Country Cafe was really decorated foe Christmas, making it festive & more enjoyable! Our waitress was also very friendly & efficient.

Stopped in and made a take out order and gave them a time I would be back. When I got back my order was ready. The food was very good and great prices on them items.
Service was a little slow, but there were a few tables and only one waitress. We were in no hurry but drink refills took a while. The food made up for it though. Good stuff

Only a few people in there at the time. Sometimes, that means that the wait staff gets lazy. Not at this place! She was johnny on the spot, helpful, pleasant and when we ordered a menu item, she even informed us of the menu special that would save us money! food was good and prices were VERY reasonable. Only thing I can say is that, for a restaurant that advertises either 'HOME MADE' or 'MADE FROM SCRATCH'...something like that...that's not really true. We had fried mushrooms and pepper jack cheese cubes which were clearly from either sysco or gordons. Also, at a small town eatery, I expected to get a hand pressed greasy burger but was very disappointed to get a formed patty that was probably frozen too. Still, everything was good and we will definitely go back when we are in town for the next hockey game or during the summer months when visiting the shore.
Inadequate service: used dishes not cleared, no refills on water, wrong order, never checked to see if everything was ok, long wait for check & take out box (had to find & ask), unfriendly, etc.
The food and service was excellant. We love the small town atmosphere with great quality food.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. We enjoyed the rustic feel to it. However, the menu says "everything from scratch" and that is not what we experienced.
