We always like going to lakeside as the servers are friendly and the food is great.
The food was great & everyone liked the rest. & atmosphere. Only bad part was our waitress, she took our orders and we never seen her again until she brought the food. We couldn't get coffee or drinks.
The food was outstanding! We had the wing basket, the Reuben sandwich and the large pizza. Our server Jared was very nice.
Very busy on Friday night and kitchen not able to keep up. Took long time for meal to arrive (30 + minutes) and then for refill on all you could eat fish, took another 30 minutes). Food was good just slow.

Elegant setting, great service, healthy, unusual menu for York County . Loved the experience and anxious to return very soon.
We did have an appetizer and two entrees, all three of which included risotto. Too much risotto on the menu - and our mistake for ordering so much of it!

If they stuck to the specials they advertise, it would be better. Prime Rib Saturday dwindled without notice and then you can either get up and leave or get something else. A steak substitute is not acceptable.

I wasn't happy they took out their salad bar. The men's steaks were very thin and the salad only had head lettuce instead of a mix the waitress said it had.
This is our 2nd time to dine there & it was better than the first time. One new person to our previous party was quite impressed with the food & the waitress. It was a great dinner after a long hard day. Our dinner check including tip came to around $90.

Prime Rib was a little sub-par and the 'shrimp' $4.95 add on were tiny....not the usual large ones.

the waitress was very attentive, felt as though she was there just for us. It was clean and we had the back room, It was decorated and just very nice there to be able to carry on a conversation with out tons of noise, christmas music played softly in the back ground

The food was great. They play Indian music videos on big screen TVs, which seemed like too immersive of an experience, and distracting. I would have preferred a more quiet experience with perhaps some gentle Indian music in the background.
gOOD SERVICE and food
this is my favorite restaurant in Panama City Beach. I've eaten there for at least 20 years every time in PCB and this was the first time I could not eat it. It was covered in blackened seasoning and it was supposed to be grilled. We told the waitress and she did Nothing! Unless you count shrugging your shoulders as something. Really annoyed. Plus the manager usually walks past each table and asks how the dinner was but not tonight. I asked for extra napkins to wipe off the seasoning and still brought back 3/4 and will have to wash it off in order to eat it.
Scampy's is a wonderful local beach restaurant. It's not five star nor does it portend to be.
we order a large order of steamers for $30.00 they were very small not cleaned very well, we've been to other restaurants and paid less and got more. We would never go back. Not worth the $ Glad we had the gift card, really would of been upset. Didn't like eating off of plastic and paper products, even though that's there style. For that kind of money you could go somewhere else and at least get a salad or bread.

FOOD was AWFUL ! Service was poor . Would never suggest this place to anyone even if they were giving the food away for free. This was a terrible place to go to. I would rather eat a can of dog food over eating at this restaurant.

Everything was great, warm comfortable room, waiter was friendly and helpful, food was delicious and reasonably priced. A wonderful find that we will go to again.

it's a bowling alley.....
Food and service were good. However, the outside near entrances is littered with cigarette butts. Perhaps management will clean up once spring arrives. We plan to return even if we don't have another Restaurant.com certificate in the future. Sunday is a good day to dine as they offer all their weekly specials (except chicken buffet) on that day.

Service was horrible. We had a party of 15 and I had to get up and get extra plates, napkins, refills on beverages, etc. Not one time did anyone come and ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything. Worst service EVER!!!!!

We've been coming here for the past few summers. This time, the seafood chowder wasn't as good and the wet burritos were awful. We WILL NOT be back and are very sad about the decline in the quality of the food. So very sad!
