My husband enjoyed their hamburgers immensely and he’s a picky eater. My Philly Beef was good too. Alittle windy outside and tent blowing a lot so my Grandson was scared. Can’t wait to eat inside again.

I have dined here many times, but was the first time I ventured away from my usuals. I had the FRESH strawberry and banana crepes with bacon and sausage links. I had never tried all 3 of those, and enjoyed them very much.
Benny’s Place is one of the best kept secrets in Oswego! Always great food no matter if it’s breakfast on a busy weekend or dinner on a casual evening. Cannot say enough great things about this amazing restaurant and its staff!

I looked up their menu online before choosing this place. They had cheaper prices on the online menu and more options. When we asked (we specifically choose this place because of a menu item) they said that item was not available until 3pm. No mention of that anywhere online. Because we had already used $25 dining dough, we were stuck ordering items we really didn't want to eat.

The codfish sandwich on special was something right out of a box. A square patty that i could have made for a fraction of the price from any grocery store's frozen food aisle. Very disappointed!!!! I have also been disappointed by their over cooked pasta in the past. Avoid these menu choices!

Even though there were quite a few diners, we were seated right away. Our waitress came over and asked us for our drink orders, and gave us time to go through the menu. The food was excellent! A good portion for each serving. We will definitely go back again.

Upon entering this restaurant, the ambiance felt like walking into a Denny's. But they also served alcoholic beverages. Not many people in there on a Saturday night dinner hour. Food was good and portions were o.k. for the price. I would return to try other things.

One of the best places in the western suburbs if you're looking for quality of food and service to price. Owner Benny is almost always there and servers are always great. One server always greets you my friends and he means it.

Benny's is always a treat the manager and wait staff are wonderful the is fresh made and really good they serve nice size portions, we always tell our friends about Benny's and get good reports.
Our waitress, Mia, took our order quickly to avoid placing the order after a large party from a sports team. We appreciated having the specials prominent displayed on the front of the menu and our food was excellent. Coffee refills were timely and dirty plates were removed promptly. Overall it was a very pleasant meal.

I had the pecan salad with the chicken on the side (I don't eat chicken, waitress had it boxed for me to take home for my husband)Huge salad took 1/2 of it home..it was delicious. My husband and I each had a cup of the Potato Soup it was wonderful. He had a breast of chicken sandwich, took 1/2 of that home it was so big...Really enjoyed our lunch.

They always have great food and service and have some particular menu items that cannot be found anywhere else. One of my favorites in the Waldorf Chicken Salad served as a melt with jack cheese on a multigrain bread. The staff were very attentive to our needs. The food was great and the portion sizes were perfect for the price. The ambiance was quiet and romantic. It's location was perfect as it can be seen clearly from the main road. The parking lot had sufficient parking too.

The food was excellent but we thought that the vegetables may have been bad. They had a bad smell and taste. Otherwise everything else was excellent. My pasta and chicken,salad, bread was excellent. My husbands steak was cooked perfectly and his soup was very good. Will definitly visit again.

we had two kinds of benedicts and two kinds of potatoes. The benedicts were good. The Potatoes were boring.

Benny's has a comfortable environment and the burgers and fries were very good. The Chicken and Dumpling soup was also quite good.

Food was very ordinary. Fries were not crisp, fried fish tasted like it was fried in old grease, steak was poor quality. Salads used only iceberg lettuce and one cucumber slice, not other veggies or lettuces. The best thing we ordered was the beef burgundy. That was delicious. Maybe breakfast is better.
Service seemed armature. Took salad away before we were done. AC pipes were dripping on us.
The service was not as good as it has been before. Our server didn't know the menu, did not check to see if our meal was OK & if we needed anything else. She dropped the check 1/2 way through the meal & before we asked for it. We needed refills on our drinks but she was on her phone at the counter. We asked another server to get our waitress for refills, but he (Joey) went & filled them for us.He even greeted us when we walked in. I did not leave as large of a tip like I usually do. Next tome, we will ask for Joey when we are being seated. He always provides us with excellent service. This has been the Only time I didn't enjoy the service & we've been coming to Benny's since he opened.
Benny's has a great selection of breakfast items. The portions are large (enough for a couple of us to bring home for another meal) and have great pairings. The skillets, omelets, and frittatas have some really nice and new flavors and fresh ingredients.

It was a very pleasant experience.... Benny the owner was very friendly and interesting to talk to. Will be nice when they get their liquor license. Hopefully it will remain a friendly family environment.

When I called, the man said it had been real slow so they were thinking of closing early. I said we would like to come in and be there before 6 and he said yes, they would stay open.

We like how Benny's meals are made from scratch. We also like some of the twists that are made with the recipies that made the dishes unique. This makes benny's stand out and a place to visit again. It's not a standard diner.
The food at Benny's is always very, very fresh and delicious no matter what time of day or night you go there. The entire staff are friendly and very helpful. Service is great and the atmosphere is quite nice; very cozy!

Service wasn't what u expected. It took server more than 15 minutes before coming to are table. Benny's wasn't busy at all. Then a different server came to are table and told us she was taking over which I didn't understand.
Nice, seasonally changing menus, with favorites that are always on the menu. I like to try things there that I wouldn't always order, due to the skill of the chef.
Got there right as they opened. I had steak and eggs with coffee and a large glass of spicy V8 juice. Food (and presentation) was very good. Lemon slice for my V8 was a nice touch. Service was quick and friendly. Coffee was luke warm though. The menu is not your usual ham and egg diner food. Very creative and a lot to choose from to please any taste
Only minor issue is that they add a small surcharge to various toast options which I don't believe are clearly noted in the menu. Portrays a nickel and dime approach.

This had been several other restaurants, we were thinking this can't be much better, but we gave it a try. So delight full different from others around Kendall County! FRESH food home made, generous portions, great service, WOW! We discovered this last week, and had to go back for more!

The only thing that would make it even better is if you had the jams in the round containers rather than jelly.
After our order was taken, our waitress took 3 other tables drink orders before placing our order. Once she placed it though, they were quick to bring our order to the table-and it was hot!
